The WESTERN® line of PRO-FLO™ tailgate spreaders offers the ice control professional a choice of two spreaders ideal for parking lots of any size. Both units are easily removed from the vehicle without the use of tools.

PRO-FLO™ SPREADER
The patented WESTERN® PRO-FLO™ spreader (shown above on right) was designed from the ground up to handle dry #1 rock salt, calcium chloride and other ice melting material. The high-strength polyethylene hopper has 10 cu. ft. capacity. The hopper's unique, sloped shape along with replaceable internal agitators promote superior material flow. Adjustable material deflectors control the spread pattern while the poly feed gates regulate the material flow independent of the spinner speed and provide positive shut-off.

Other features include 1/3 HP, 12V DC motor with belt reduction drive for higher torque, bag opener and powder coated top screen.

PRO-FLO™ 2 SPREADER
Capable of spreading all types of material, including wet sand, the WESTERN® PRO- snow plows salt spreaders annapolis maryland FLO™ 2 spreader sets a new standard for tailgate type spreaders! The two-stage design features a 16" belt conveyor to assure positive feed with all types of materials. The high strength poly hopper has up to 1200 lbs. capacity (10 cu. ft.) on properly equipped vehicles. Spreader height along with the feed gate and deflectors are all adjustable. In-cab control options include an "on-off-blast" rocker switch or solid state, variable speed control (shown).

Other PRO-FLO™ 2 features include 1/3 HP, 12V DC motor, large 16" spinner to increase the spread pattern and center high-mounted stop lamp (CHMSL).

Both spreaders offer a choice of two mounting options. Choose an in-bed truss mount or an under-bed frame mount which includes a Class IV receiver hitch.

1000 & 2000 Low Profile Speaders

The newest members of the WESTERN® line of tailgate spreaders feature a low profile design which provides an unobstructed rear view from the cab of the vehicle. Both the Model 1000 and 2000 are ideal for spreading dry #1 rock salt, calcium chloride and other ice melting materials.

MODEL 500

The Western model 500, designed for compact pickups or SUVs with Class III trailer hitch, 5 cu. ft. capacity poly hopper (225 lbs.) , 12V DC sealed motor and direct drive auger. Poly Spinner and ratchet straps are standard.

MODEL 1000
The WESTERN® model 1000, economy tailgate spreader has the features and capacity of many higher priced models. The low profile, hi-density polyethylene hopper has 9 cu. ft. capacity (450 lbs.). It comes with a 10" diameter powder coated steel spinner, powder coated steel auger and agitator, and a 12V, DC motor mounted inside a sealed housing in the hopper for maximum corrosion protection.

MODEL 2000
The Model 2000 low profile tailgate spreader offers the ice control professional the ultimate in convenience and performance. Features include 10.6 cu. ft. poly hopper, 12V DC hi-torque motor located inside a sealed housing in the hopper, an internal auger for continuous and even flow of materials and a center mounted stop light.

CONTROL OPTIONS
For either low profile spreader choose an in-cab "on/off" switch or solid state, variable speed control (shown).

MOUNT OPTIONS
Both spreaders are available with a "fixed" mount, Receiver mount or the dual SWING AWAY design which allows you to swing the spreader out of the way without removing the tailgate.

Accessories include Top Screen Kit, Backstop Kit (Model 2000 only), Adjustable Deflector, and Truck Protector Flap.
